At the promotion meeting, 6 industry experts classified and recommended 57 excellent scripts selected for reserve incubation. More than 100 literary and art troupes and production organizations from across the country, as well as cultural authorities from various districts in Beijing gathered to jointly promote the incubation of works and help outstanding screenplays. Scripts are cultivated and transformed into excellent stage literary and artistic works.

According to Ma Wen, a second-level inspector of the Beijing Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau, since its launch in 2022, the New Era Capital Script Incubation Project has produced dialogue drama "Wang Xinghe", opera 24 key scripts including "Bao Zheng Returns Home", "Those Things in the Imperial Kitchen", children's dramas "Letter from the Deep Sea", "The Mysterious Journey of Maizi", dance drama "Past and Present Life - The Peony Pavilion" have been incubated and displayed in an all-round way. 14 works were signed with literary troupes and performing arts organizations. In the future, more training mechanisms that adapt to the needs of the times and are in line with the laws of art will be optimized and launched. For example, this year, in order to help young creators better sort out their creative ideas and improve their creative abilities, a "Famous Lecture Hall" was specially set up, and expert teachers were invited to teach online and offline simultaneously.

It is reported that 300 authors from 81 cities in 26 provinces across the country participated in submissions this year, and 393 valid works were collected, including 101 script outlines and 292 complete scripts. These works include dramas, operas, children's plays, musicals, operas, dance dramas and other artistic categories, covering realistic themes, revolutionary themes, historical themes, Beijing themes and other types, reflecting the enthusiasm and strength of the majority of creators, showing Show the vigorous trend of artistic creation.

More than 50 senior experts in the industry are deeply involved in topic selection, style sharing, work discussion, script review and other aspects to protect the project. Among the reserve incubation works, there are excellent scripts of various themes: the musical "Champa Flowers Looking North" which shows the friendship between the people of China and Laos along the "One Belt and One Road", and the expression of life through national style music and body movements. There are realistic themes such as the philosophical dance theater "White Clouds"; there are revolutionary themes such as the children's drama "Portrait of Dad" that expresses the heroic spirit of martyrs from a child's perspective; there are also revolutionary themes such as Li Qingzhao and Wang Bo There are also historical themes such as Kun Opera "Li Qingzhao and Zhao Mingcheng" and Peking Opera "The Murderer" based on the lives of other characters; there are also traditional themes such as the dramas "Jizhen" and "Dear Love Me" which tell the story of people's struggle and perseverance in turbulent years. ; Beijing-themed dramas "The Collection of Ten Thousand Parallels" and "Tonglivonia Hotel" created around the Grand Canal Cultural Belt, and the Beijing opera "Liu Biju" which depicts the rise and fall of a century-old brand in Beijing. In addition to original works, literary adaptations such as Peking Opera "A Poor Job Changes His Life", Beijing opera "Crescent Moon", Kun Opera "Hua Hu", etc. also have their own characteristics.

This promotion meeting invited 6 guest speakers to provide professional promotion to more than 100 literary and art troupes and production organizations from the perspectives of the title, artistic level, and incubation space of the work. This year’s project will incubate no less than 10 works, tailor-made targeted incubation methods according to the characteristics of each work, and organize literary and art troupes, production agencies and authors to negotiate and connect to better promote the implementation and transformation of excellent scripts.
