I have been following "Alley People" recently, and I have been lamenting why such a treasured period drama has not become a hit yet.

After all, in my heart, it is "Chinese version of "Reply 1988"", "Suzhou version of "In the World"" , plus "a companion piece to "Parental Love"".

However, seeing the ratings rising day by day, I still believe that the day is not far away when this series will become the next "electronic mustard".

Next, let’s take advantage of the popularity of the drama to rank the acting skills of the actors in the drama and see what performances are deeply rooted in the hearts of the people in this period drama.

I have been following 'Alley People' recently, and I have been lamenting why such a treasured period drama has not become a hit yet. After all, in my mind, it is the 'Chinese version of 'Reply 1988'', 'the Suzhou version of 'In the World'', plus 'the companion volume of 'Par - Lujuba

th Eight: Li Jia (played by Lu Yuxiao)

As soon as Li Jia, played by Lu Yuxiao, appeared, this period drama full of human fireworks instantly had a youthful atmosphere that rippled people's hearts.

And Lu Yuxiao’s performance made me fall in love at first sight, also because as soon as she appeared on the stage, she accurately interpreted the innocence and throbbing unique to girls of that age.

When they met for the first time, Dongzhe asked him about his privacy. Even though he was a few years older, Li Jia was still a little embarrassed.

But she did not just deal with it because the other person was a child. Instead, she listened attentively, smiled from time to time, and responded patiently.

Here is a detail: Because he was not familiar with everyone, Li Jia chose a seat by the window after getting on the bus, and kept looking out the window, even his shoulders were turned outward.

These actions showed that she wanted to keep an appropriate distance from everyone, but when faced with Dongzhe's "childlike" questioning, she did not get angry even if she was offended, but answered all the questions seriously.

Seeing this, I was really shocked by Lu Yuxiao's expressiveness, because I could accurately feel the character's heart through her words, deeds, expressions and temperament.

This method of using performances to portray characters rather than using plots to show characters is really difficult for young actors, but she accomplished it brilliantly.

As the plot progressed, Lu Yuxiao showed many unforgettable performances.

In class, there is a desire for professional knowledge in the firm eyes.

When meeting the boy who is attracted to him, his eyes will unconsciously show excitement and shyness.

Moreover, whether it was when he was young and ignorant, or after years of baptism, Lu Yuxiao gave Li Jia a temperament that is consistent with his age, experience and times.

Looking back on her previous wonderful performances in " Yun Zhi Yu " and "Xi Huazhi", it seems that the entertainment industry has another promising stock in the future.

th Seven: Lin Dongzhe (played by Li Qingyu)

The clever and naughty Lin Dongzhe is simply the "funny person" of this drama. From the beginning, he has done many things that make people laugh.

In order to compete for a room in a cotton spinning factory, his mother took him to a male leader's house in the middle of the night and made him cry profusely.

Most children would be confused when encountering this battle, but Lin Dongzhe, who is as big as a brat, immediately understood what his mother meant. As soon as he arrived, he started acting emotionally.

Seeing him crying, scolding and looking at his mother’s face, I almost laughed out loud.

And after he bullied Xiao Ting, he realized that he would probably have no friends, and the way he squatted in the toilet and cried was also very funny.

I have to say that Sun Sicheng, who played Dongzhe in his childhood, has a pretty good performance in front of the camera.

However, compared to the actor Li Qingyu when he was a teenager, Sun Sicheng was somewhat pretending to be cute when performing.

Therefore, I still feel that among the several actors currently replaced, it is Li Qingyu who performed the essence of Lin Dongzhe's mischief, kindness and innocence.

There are two scenes that impressed me very deeply. The first scene was when he denounced Song Ying in public.

The reason was that Xiao Ting was celebrating her birthday and Song Ying wanted to invite Huang Ling and her daughter to a restaurant. Because of the limited budget, she planned to hide it from the two boys.

Unexpectedly, Dongzhe discovered him and chased Tunan all the way to the noodle shop.

Seeing that Song Ying was about to eat, Dongzhe rushed in and scolded her for "abandoning her husband and son, betraying her trust".

In another scene, Dongzhe burst into tears on the podium.

Even though he always makes the teacher angry, he also breaks class discipline and affects the learning of other students.

But knowing that after skipping a grade, he would be separated from his current teachers and classmates, he burst into tears uncontrollably at the farewell party.

Both scenes have seemingly funny storylines, but with Li Qingyu's performance, the audience can clearly perceive Dongzhe's inner thoughts.

At such a young age, he can impress the audience with his sincere performance, which is very worthy of praise.

Sixth place: Zhang Amei (played by Li Qian)

Zhang Amei is a second marriage. From the first day when she married Lao Wu with her biological daughter Xiao Min, she began to dislike Shanshan and Xiaojun.

On weekdays, her attitude towards her stepson and stepdaughter was visibly cold and repulsive, not to mention caring and loving.

She asked Xiao Min to lie down and rest at home, but asked Shanshan to stand in the cold wind early in the morning and queue up to buy pork.

would still leave all the delicious food to Xiao Min as if nothing had happened. Even when Shanshan was eating normally, her words were full of cynicism.

In addition to blatantly favoring Xiao Min at home, Zhang Amei would also intentionally or unintentionally suppress Shanshan and Xiaojun in front of her neighbors.

Every time I see her pretending to be confused in front of the neighbors, I feel itchy with hatred.

What is even more irritating is that Zhang Amei is not only an eccentric stepmother, but also a mean and snobbish woman. She often tries to take advantage of her neighbors in various ways.

Even though he has three children at home, he still insists on exchanging lucky money with Song Ying, who only has one child.

obviously has no friendship with Huang Ling, but she still tries to get her husband and son to give her children free tutoring.

finally gave back the help from her neighbors, using the leftover eggs that she couldn’t finish at home, and asked Shanshan to lie to others that these were fresh eggs.

Even after handing out the basket, I had to take out another one from it.

After watching Li Qian's smooth performance, Zhang Amei, the annoying little citizen character, suddenly stood up.

Some viewers who are too deeply involved in the drama said that the actors themselves are mean-looking, so they can act in their true colors. This is really biased.

If you still remember Li Qian’s performance in "The Foreign History of the Martial Arts", "The Granary of the World" and " Li Wei as an Official", you may still sigh, she really looks like anything she plays!

Fifth place: Mother Zhuang (played by Chi Peng)

Mother Zhuang is a "evil mother-in-law" character who often appears in domestic film and television dramas. The things she did to Huang Ling are really infuriating.

Huang Ling worked hard to prepare a birthday banquet for her father-in-law, but before she could serve it, the whole family started eating.

When the mother-in-law saw this, she acted like nothing was wrong and asked Huang Ling and Xiao Ting to go to the kitchen and just have sex.

Huang Ling finally saved enough meat tickets to buy pork, so her mother-in-law brought her young son and his family to shamelessly eat.

Moreover, while eating, her mouth was still busy, and she was accusing Huang Ling of being stingy both inside and outside her words.

Especially when Huang Ling greeted everyone to "eat meat, eat meat", her words "eat shredded radish, eat shredded radish", although her tone was bland, the underlying meaning was not too harsh.

If it were just these occasional daily chores, maybe Huang Ling could swallow her anger, but the series of actions that Zhuang's mother followed made people really angry to the extreme.

In order to protect the interests of her younger son and herself, she completely ignored the feelings of her daughter and eldest son, and also turned their families into tools.

Seeing that the happiness of her youngest daughter and eldest son's family was about to be destroyed by her, she still did unreasonable things as a matter of course.

Whenever I see her using an accusatory tone, standing on the moral high ground and making excuses for her patriarchal and selfish behavior, I get furious.

However, when you are angry, you still have to praise. The reason why the role of Zhuang Mother can arouse so much public outrage is ultimately due to Chi Peng's good performance.

It is no exaggeration to say that in almost every scene, she can give people the feeling of being possessed by "Zhuang's Mother". She is worthy of being an experienced actor, and her strength should not be underestimated.

Fourth place: Song Ying (played by Jiang Xin)

Many people praised Jiang Xin's performance in "Alley People".

It is undeniable that she did a good job. She has good looks and a good figure, and the character she created is good. Overall, she is very likable.

It's just that this kind of good performance does not surpass her past acting skills, so after much trouble, I still ranked her in fourth place.

In addition, Jiang Xin also showed two visible shortcomings in this drama.

The first one is that his mouth steals the show.

When Jiang Xin said her lines, her mouth shape was very synchronized with her lines, and the changes in mouth shape were also very prominent. In other words, the mouth's presence on the face was too strong.

When watching her performance, all the attention is on her mouth, which can easily cause drama.

The second thing is that the performance is too routine.

Comparing Jiang Xin's role as Concubine Hua in "The Legend of Zhen Huan" and Fan Shengmei's role in "Ode to Joy", it will be obvious that the personalities of these two characters have many similarities with Song Ying.

As a result, Song Ying's behavioral logic and emotional changes are mostly the same as those of Concubine Hua and Fan Shengmei.

Moreover, according to Jiang Xin’s words in the interview, it can be inferred that she is also a “big sister” who looks “careless and silly” in life.

has been "acting in his true colors" for a long time, and the performance will inevitably solidify, which will naturally give the audience a sense of routine and routine.

In fact, with Jiang Xin’s acting skills, she is fully qualified for more complex roles, and she is also fully capable of performing similar roles with completely different textures.

Just like when performing the scene where Dongzhe disappeared, Jiang Xin completely performed Song Ling's "lost soul" state.

Unfortunately, I don’t know whether such a performance is too exhausting, or whether I feel that such a dedicated performance is unnecessary.

In short, Jiang Xin's current performance always gives me the feeling that as long as it "passes", there is no need to "breakthrough".

I hope she can continue to maintain her passion for acting and not bury herself.

Third place: Lin Wufeng (played by Li Guangjie)

Judging from the current plot development, Lin Wufeng has the least role among the two middle-aged couples, but no matter how little plot, it cannot resist the charm Li Guangjie gives to this role.

In front of Song Ying, he was a maniac who doted on his wife. This marriage, which began with appearance, was filled with the atmosphere of love under his careful care.

In front of Dongzhe, he is an open-minded father. No matter how much he envies other people's children, he will teach them in accordance with their aptitude.

Therefore, compared with other children in the alley, Dongzhe had such a carefree childhood.

In front of the neighbor brother played by Guo Xiaodong, he has become a humble and sincere brother. He will treat each other with courtesy and help in times of trouble.

He would tell the other person point-blank that "one generation is in charge of another", and he would also tell the other person his own experiences from the bottom of his heart.

However, what touched me the most was the scene where he comforted Tunan.

Tunan complained about Huang Ling because of Pengfei and his grandparents. No one was able to comfort Tunan. Only Lin Wufeng saw through Tunan's idealism.

He used his mother to compete with neighboring villages for water sources, and Tunan finally understood Huang Ling's painstaking efforts.

In short, the most attractive thing about Lin Wufeng’s character is that from his attitude towards the people around him, you can feel that he is really a cultured and cultivated man.

And Li Guangjie’s performance was just right, perfectly showing the advantages of this character.

I believe that as the plot progresses, Li Guangjie will give the character Lin Wufeng more exciting qualities.

Second place: Zhuang Chaoying (played by Guo Xiaodong)

Zhuang Chaoying, played by Guo Xiaodong, suffered a lot of infamy in the early stage due to various "foolish filial piety" and "bad good guy" behaviors.

At the beginning, because I hated the character, I couldn't help but feel angry at the actor himself. I even hated his voice.

But after watching several interviews with Guo Xiaodong, I found that the way he speaks in real life is very different from that in the drama.

It suddenly dawned on me that in order to better portray the role of Zhuang Chaoying, he even changed the way he spoke. No wonder I felt irritable every time I heard his long sermons in the play.

In addition, Zhuang Chaoying also has many nuanced performances in the play.

He swallowed his anger in front of his parents, taught earnestly in front of his students, and was a little aloof but still kind in front of his neighbors.

Only when he was in front of Huang Ling, he finally relaxed after taking off his guard, but behind this relaxation, he also unconsciously revealed some indifference and enjoyment.

It is precisely because of this that this "good person" in the eyes of outsiders has brought so much harm to Huang Ling.

Although Huang Ling is not worth it, the more I watch it, the more I feel that Guo Xiaodong's performance is really good.

It is precisely because he accurately portrayed Zhuang Chaoying's character weaknesses that the audience can have a deeper understanding of this character and better understand the pain Huang Ling endured in her marriage.

First place: Huang Ling (played by Yan Ni)

To be honest, I really feel that Yan Ni deserves the first place in this acting list.

If Jiang Xin's performance has a perfunctory feeling of "just quitting when it's good", then Yan Ni's performance in this drama is completely "strive for excellence".

I feel that Yan Ni performs to the extreme in almost every scene.

I believe that many women will resonate with her role as Huang Ling and admire her.

Because she really used the character of Huang Ling to accurately express the dedication, tolerance and grievances of women in marriage and family.

What’s even more rare is that Huang Ling also did things that many people dare not do in real life.

The most touching thing is that in order to protect Tunan and Xiaoting, she tore off the masks of her parents-in-law in front of the whole family, and then fought back.

In this scene, Yan Ni perfectly interpreted Huang Ling's complex emotions.

His kindness when he dismissed Pengfei, his determination when Tunan and Xiaoting were left behind, his bravery when arguing with his parents-in-law, his patience when being scolded by his husband, and his helplessness when facing his sister-in-law's request.

were all conveyed by Yan Ni’s acting skills.

It is hard to imagine that Yan Ni can show such intriguing explosive power in the "siege" of everyone.

In this scene, she is an aunt, a mother, a daughter-in-law, a wife, and of course a sister-in-law.

But no matter how complicated her identity was, Yan Ni let Huang Ling use her body to be herself wantonly.

Even in many subsequent scenes, I also felt that Yan Ni was not playing Huang Ling, Yan Ni was Huang Ling.

For example, she cried with joy when Tunan was admitted to college, her anxiety when Tunan's color weakness might affect her admission, and her self-blame when Xiaoting got food poisoning.

These expressions of true feelings do not look like acting at all, as if Tunan and Xiaoting are her own children.

Of course, Yan Ni's performance in many scenes is as if she has personally lived for Huang Ling, so she can show such natural and real emotions.

can make a character bloom so wantonly on the screen, which is really touching.

The above ranking is the ranking of the actors in "Alley People" in my mind.

I believe that as the plot progresses, more actors with superb acting skills will appear in this series.

If you happen to like this series and have an actor you recognize, please leave a message in the comment area and let’s have a friendly discussion together.

Eighth place: Li Jia (played by Lu Yuxiao)

As soon as Li Jia, played by Lu Yuxiao, appeared, this period drama full of human fireworks instantly had a youthful atmosphere that made people's hearts ripple.

And Lu Yuxiao’s performance made me fall in love at first sight, also because as soon as she appeared on the stage, she accurately interpreted the innocence and throbbing unique to girls of that age.

When they met for the first time, Dongzhe asked him about his privacy. Even though he was a few years older, Li Jia was still a little embarrassed.

But she did not just deal with it because the other person was a child. Instead, she listened attentively, smiled from time to time, and responded patiently.

Seventh place: Lin Dongzhe (played by Li Qingyu)

The clever and naughty Lin Dongzhe is simply the "funny person" of this drama. From the beginning, he has done many ridiculous things.

In order to compete for a room in a cotton spinning factory, his mother took him to a male leader's house in the middle of the night and made him cry profusely.

Huang Ling finally saved enough meat tickets to buy pork, so her mother-in-law brought her young son and his family to shamelessly eat.

Moreover, while eating, her mouth was still busy, and she was accusing Huang Ling of being stingy both inside and outside her words.

In front of Dongzhe, he is an open-minded father. No matter how much he envies other people's children, he will teach them in accordance with their aptitude.

Therefore, compared with other children in the alley, Dongzhe had such a carefree childhood.

In addition, Zhuang Chaoying also has many nuanced performances in the play.

He swallowed his anger in front of his parents, taught earnestly in front of his students, and was a little aloof but still kind in front of his neighbors.

I feel that Yan Ni performs to the extreme in almost every scene.

I believe that many women will resonate with her role as Huang Ling and admire her.

Because she really used the character of Huang Ling to accurately express the dedication, tolerance and grievances of women in marriage and family.

What’s even more rare is that Huang Ling also did things that many people dare not do in real life.

The most touching thing is that in order to protect Tunan and Xiaoting, she tore off the masks of her parents-in-law in front of the whole family, and then fought back.

Of course, Yan Ni's performance in many scenes is as if she has personally lived for Huang Ling, so she can show such natural and real emotions.

can make a character bloom so wantonly on the screen, which is really touching.

The above ranking is the ranking of the actors in "Alley People" in my mind.

I believe that as the plot progresses, more actors with superb acting skills will appear in this series.

If you happen to like this series and have an actor you recognize, please leave a message in the comment area and let’s have a friendly discussion together.(Written by: stebufa)
