At the end of August this year, Liu Qian personally confirmed that he was suffering from lung adenocarcinoma and he only had surgery in mid-February.
More than 8 months later, Liu Qian appeared at the Shanghai International Magic Week, and he still kept going. In addition to serving as a judge for the "International Close-up Magic Rookie Competition" and "International Close-up Magic Invitational Competition", he also participated in the Magic Week Pudong Tour.
Comparing the difference between being a judge and performing on stage, Liu Qian said, "Actors must be responsible for the audience and must make the audience worth their money. Judges are like a responsibility. Your judgment may affect the future of the contestants, so you have to show Professionalism, fairness and justice."
Liu Qian, who is busy at the end of the year, postponed his solo tour to next spring. "The tour was supposed to be completed this year, but there was really no time to go to some cities, and it was busy at the end of the year, so it was extended to next year.
