As the province's highest-level professional art competition for young Sichuan Opera actors, the Sichuan Province Young Sichuan Opera Actors Competition is held every two years and has been successfully held six times before. This competition is not only an artistic event that encourages and promotes the creation of Sichuan Opera in the new era, but also a cultural feast that allows theater fans to appreciate the unique charm of Sichuan Opera at a close range and at a high density. It is worth noting that on September 1, the "Regulations on the Protection and Inheritance of Sichuan Opera in Sichuan Province" was officially implemented, providing legal protection for the development of Sichuan Opera Troupes and the cultivation of Sichuan Opera talents, and making it clear that competitions for young Sichuan Opera actors will continue to be held. This competition was launched on June 25 this year. After various selections by cities (states), 86 contestants from 14 cities (states), 1 provincial literary and art unit, and 1 university advanced to the finals. .
