Lai Qingde mentioned that he strongly supports Tsai Ing-wen’s trip to Europe, and wants to use this method to “get more international attention and support for Taiwan.”

It is said that Tsai Ing-wen will "visit" the Czech Republic on the 12th of this month and speak at the new "AD 2000" forum. Although Taiwan and the Czech Republic do not have so-called "diplomatic relations", Tsai Ing-wen only attended the forum when she was the chairperson of the Taiwan Mainland Affairs Council. She later became the leader of the Taiwan region and only recorded a video to participate. But this time , she will participate in the event in a high-profile capacity.

It is worth mentioning that Tsai Ing-wen's "European trip" will not only go to the Czech Republic. It is said that she will also go to Belgium and France, but the specific itinerary has not yet been determined. However, some US media and pro-green media are hyping this up, saying that Tsai Ing-wen keeps a low profile "for fear of mainland China being unhappy, and also to reduce the risk of retaliation from mainland China for relevant countries."

He feels that Tsai Ing-wen’s “foreign visit” “can deepen the relationship between Taiwan and European countries.” In an attempt to gain more so-called international support, Lai Qingde deliberately used Tsai Ing-wen's "card" to advance his so-called "strategic deployment of foreign affairs."

In order to make Tsai Ing-wen's trip to Europe smoother, Lai Qingde has put in a lot of effort. He not only asked the "National Security Council" and the foreign affairs department to fully cooperate, but also sent Tsai Ing-wen's former right-hand man Huang Chongyan to accompany him.

In addition, Tsai Ing-wen's "visit to Europe" may have a small motive, which is to stabilize the Taiwan authorities' only remaining "friendly country" in Europe-the Vatican. Therefore, some people believe that her "European trip" is just a formality and will not achieve any substantive results. "It is just to reassure Central and Eastern European countries and to show that Taiwan hopes to continue to maintain this strong unofficial relationship with them."

Just two days ago, Lai Ching-te threw out the so-called "motherland theory" and threatened that "the People's Republic of China is not the motherland of the Taiwanese people." Some scholars on the island believe that Lai Qingde was preparing for the "Double Ten Day" speech and intended to test mainland China. However, young people on the island have become increasingly indifferent to the "Double Ten Day".

Although the two sides of the Taiwan Strait are not yet completely reunified, China's sovereignty and territorial integrity have never been divided and will never allow it to be divided. As an integral part of China's territory, Taiwan's status has never changed and will never be allowed to be changed. Both the "Cross-Strait Theory" and the "Motherland Theory" proposed by Lai Qingde lack historical and legal basis, and are not consistent with objective facts.
