According to multiple insiders in the music industry, the famous songwriter Fu Lin passed away on October 7 at the age of 78.
Fu Lin was born on January 17, 1946 in Fujin City, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province. He is a director of the Chinese Musicians Association (the fifth, sixth and seventh directors) and a national first-level composer. Over the years, Fu Lin has composed popular songs such as "The Sun is Reddest, Chairman Mao is Dearest", "Little Snail", and "Mother's Kiss". Among them, "The Sun is Reddest, Chairman Mao is Dearest" was a collaboration between him and composer Wang Xiren. "Little Snail" was written and composed by him, "Mother's Kiss" was written by Fu Lin and composed by Gu Jianfen. His songs are catchy, friendly and down-to-earth, and many of them are timeless classics.
Fu Lin’s creation is also closely related to the times. In 1986, when the work boom was in full swing, Fu Lin created "Little Me" to express his deep thoughts on social phenomena. In the 1987 Spring Festival Gala, this song was accompanied by the singer Su Hong Become famous overnight.
