Recently, there has been new progress in the unfair competition dispute case between Chongqing Jiangxiaobai Liquor Co., Ltd. and Oriental Selection affiliated company Oriental Selection (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.

According to the legal action information of Tianyancha, the court opening announcement of the case has been released. The plaintiff is Chongqing Jiangxiaobai Liquor Co., Ltd., and the case will be heard in Chongqing No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court on November 19. The cause of the

incident was that the host of Oriental Selection "Tian Quan" made the statement "Jiang Xiaobai is not baijiu" during the live broadcast, which caused strong dissatisfaction from Jiang Xiaobai.

Jiang Xiaobai issued a statement, accusing Oriental Selection of misleading consumers and damaging Jiang Xiaobai’s brand image, and demanded that Oriental Selection publicly apologize and eliminate the impact. Although Oriental Screening and the host "Tianquan" subsequently issued an apology statement, Jiang Xiaobai believed that the apology lacked sincerity and tried to cover up the malicious slander of the brand during the live broadcast.
