As a participating repertoire of "Walking with the Times and Concentric with the People" - an exhibition of outstanding stage art works in the new era, China's first xr digital music children's drama "Dunhuang·Nine-Colored Deer King" (theatrical version ) will be performed at Beijing Tianqiao Art Center from August 17th to 18th.

The play is produced by the Propaganda Department of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, produced by Tianjin Northern Performing Arts Group, and created and performed by Tianjin Children's Art Troupe. Starting from a primary school students' study activity, it tells the story of children's fantasy journey of study and exploration, traveling through thousands of years, Following the historical footsteps, an interesting growth story happened in Dunhuang, a desert.

Song Yongshun, director of the Tianjin Children's Art Troupe, introduced that "Dunhuang·Nine-Colored Deer King" is a drama that uses XR digital technology to replace the traditional stage scene. It is also an artistic practice that promotes the creative transformation and innovative development of China's excellent traditional culture. The play adheres to the creative concept of letting cultural relics speak and letting history speak. It hopes to help young children better understand and identify with Chinese civilization through diversified technologies and artistic means such as drama, puppets, music, song and dance, digital technology, and AI artificial intelligence.
