On the 16th, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lee Ka-chiu, uploaded on social platforms a thoughtful card made by his son in his early years. Li Jiachao said that he accidentally found an old photo. Many years ago, his son nominated him to participate in the "Top Ten New Images of Modern Fathers" when he was in junior high school. He co-created this card with the conference, paired with his wife's words of encouragement, and displayed it at the award ceremony.
Li Jiachao pointed out that it was a pity that he was unable to attend the award ceremony due to official duties, leaving only the memory of this photo of the card. But every time he thinks about it, he feels warm and proud.
He said that it has been almost two years since he took office as chief executive, but he still often misses many opportunities to spend time with his family due to his busy work schedule. He would like to thank his family for their silent support and care for him, which allows him to devote himself to work and strive for the welfare of the public.
Li Jiachao said that he would like to take this special day to wish all the dads in the world a happy Father’s Day and hope that everyone can spend every day happily with their families. (End)
