This series of short videos aims to show the world the profound historical and cultural heritage of Shanxi and the splendor of Chinese civilization through modern communication methods.

Zhang Huiguo, deputy director of Shanxi Museum, as the project leader of the "Jin·Seeing China" series of short videos, gave a detailed introduction around the selection of cultural relics, the creation process and the presentation form. Each video carefully introduces a fine collection of Shanxi Museum, interprets the historical background, cultural connotation and artistic value of the cultural relics in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, and leads the audience to appreciate the different Chinese civilization. The second season of the "Jin·Meet China" series of short videos was simultaneously launched on the "Learning to Strengthen the Country" Shanxi Learning Platform, Xinhuanet Shanxi Channel, People's Daily Online Shanxi Channel, China News Service Shanxi Channel, Shanxi News Network, Yellow River News Network and other platforms. At the same time, this series of short videos will also be launched simultaneously on overseas social platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube through the Shanxi International Communication Center.
During the interview session, Vice President Zhang Huiguo shared the stories behind the creation of the video with guests such as Wen Jianmei, Dean of the School of Journalism of Shanxi University of Communication, Fan Hongwen, Director of the Editorial Office of Shanxi Radio and Television Media Group, Wang Wei, Associate Professor of the School of Archeology and Museology of Shanxi University, and other guests. Fields and different angles to discuss the "Jin·Meet China" series of short videos, as well as the future development direction of historical and cultural short videos.
The 20 episodes of the first season of the 100-episode short video series "Jin·Meet China" have been released in June 2023 simultaneously with the Shanxi Museum's large-scale original exhibition "Jin·Meet China - Chinese Civilization in One Hundred Shanxi Cultural Relics" special exhibition . A total of 35 episodes were released in the second season, covering a wide range of videos and rich types. The remaining 45 episodes will be released successively in the third season.
