In 2019, the Peking Opera Cheng School's "Mu Guiying Takes the Command" received a major literary and artistic creation grant from the Shanghai Cultural Development Foundation and was once again performed in the form of a symphony version at the Shanghai Grand Theater. It was also performed as a play in the "Opera Enters Campus—2019 Campus Opera Festival" , Shanghai Opera students collaborated with the Tsinghua University Student Art Troupe symphony band and chorus to sing Tsinghua Garden.
