It will showcase the fruitful achievements of national drama art creation in recent years and hold activities such as play performances, one play review, special seminars, artistic exchanges, and performances to benefit the people.
This exhibition brings together famous drama troupes and famous actors. 84 theater troupes from 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country applied for a total of 84 large-scale plays and 27 small theater plays. After expert review, 34 large-scale plays and 5 small theater plays were selected. Small theater plays were selected.
The types of plays participating in the exhibition are rich, and it is a concentrated display of the latest achievements in drama creation in the past ten years. Among them, plays with revolutionary historical themes such as "Lishui Beacon", "The Age of Awakening", "Outpost", "East Lake Hotel" and "Yanshui Ballad" demonstrate the great spiritual pedigree built by the party in the course of a hundred years of struggle; "Fireworks in the World" and "Three Streets and Two Alleys" Realistic-themed plays such as "Searching" focus on the present, show people's lives and reflect the spirit of the times; traditional cultural-themed plays such as "Qu Yuan", "Su Dongpo", "Confucius" and "This Heart Is Bright" use dramatic methods to extract the spiritual images of China's excellent traditional culture and artistic symbols; "River Street Tea House", "Dragon Seclusion", "Camel Xiangzi", "Mansion Gate", "Copenhagen" and other classic plays and repertory performances are constantly improving; "Spring Mountain is Like a Laughter", "Seven Days of Confession", "Ding Xilin's Republic of China" Small theater dramas such as "Three Comedies" continue to experiment and explore the spirit. In addition, the event will also specially invite plays such as the drama "Fog in Chongqing" and the Gui opera "Human Face Peach Blossom" to participate in the performances.
It is understood that this event will provide modification opinions and suggestions on the participating plays through "one play, one review", and at the same time organize the public to participate in drama viewing and discussion activities. The event will select 22 participating plays and be open to the audience through a simultaneous online live broadcast. Guangxi will also integrate cultural and tourism resources and launch a series of preferential policies to allow the audience to experience the rich national customs.
