Cheng Han has been extremely passionate about music since he was a child, and is proficient in ocarina, guzheng and piano. She believes that music is an art that transcends language and expresses emotions. Since she was 7 years old, she has participated in community elderly care service projects as a young volunteer, performing her talents for the elderly.
In 2018, when she was participating in charity activities at Shanghai Yuemiao Nursing Home, she came up with the desire to teach the children there to play the ocarina. So with the strong support of Mr. Li Dong, executive vice president and secretary-general of the Ocarina Research Society of the Shanghai Musicians Association, and her mother, in November of the same year, Cheng Han organized a group of children with autism and cerebral palsy aged 12-28. The Ocarina Ensemble composed of students with disabilities - Photosynthetic Ensemble. Starting from 2019 until 2021, classmate Cheng Han led the Photosynthetic Orchestra to participate in the 12th World Autism Day art therapy themed activities of "Transforming Cocoons into Butterflies and Blooming Wonderfully" and "Love Full of Stars" to care for autism. At the end of 2021, Cheng Han, as one of the organizers, planned and prepared a painting exhibition for medium-sized autistic children with the theme of "Spring Breeze Blows the Face, Warming the Child's Heart".
