As the FTC's consecutive appeals have been dismissed, the administrative lawsuit to be launched in August this year seems unable to win the support of the federal court. All parties are considering suspending the administrative lawsuit and trying to reach a settlement. The pressure of
reconciliation also comes from overseas. The British regulatory agency CMA took the initiative to extend the end date of the review from July 18 to August 29 in order to better listen to Microsoft's new version of the remedial plan. Microsoft and Activision also extended the deadline for mergers and acquisitions to October 18, leaving enough operating windows to persuade the CMA.
