Comrade Ke Huibing, a member of the Communist Party of China, professor of the School of Social Sciences of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and chairman of the labor union, died of illness at 6 am on February 19, 2020 in Wuhan at the age of 41.
Professor Ke Huibing, from Hubei, was born in Huangmei on February 5, 1979; in June 2002, obtained a bachelor's degree in ideological and political education from Hubei University Law School; in June 2005, obtained a master's degree in social security from the Department of Sociology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology ; In June 2008, he obtained a doctorate degree in social security from the Social Security Research Center of Wuhan University; since July 2008, he has worked at Huazhong University of Science and Technology and has been hired as a professor and doctoral supervisor. From December 2016 to December 2017, he was a visiting scholar at Michigan State University in the United States.
Professor Ke Huibing has devoted his life to the research of China's social welfare policy, presided over 2 National Social Science Fund projects, Huazhong University of Science and Technology Independent Innovation Fund project, Huazhong University of Science and Technology "Teaching Quality Project" teaching research project, and participated in the key issues of philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education Projects, general projects of the National Social Science Fund, major projects of the key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, etc. Published two personal monographs, two co-authors, and participated in the compilation of five textbooks. Published nearly 40 academic papers in core journals such as "Internal Manuscripts of Chinese Social Sciences", "Journal of Public Administration", "Social Security Research" (Beijing), "China Social Security", "Contemporary Finance" and other core journals, including many The full text was reprinted by the National People's Congress, and another two papers won the 2008 China Social Security Forum Excellent Paper Award. The personal monograph won the second prize of the 10th Hubei Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award, the third prize of the 8th Hubei Provincial Social Science Outstanding Achievement Award and the third prize of the 13th Wuhan City Outstanding Achievement Award in Social Science. He used to be the director and secretary-general of the Social Development and Social Security Professional Committee of the Chinese Sociological Society, a member of the Young Scholars Alliance of China Social Security 30 Forum, and a member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Social Security Society.
Professor Ke Huibing loves the party and the country, is loyal to the education of the motherland, is diligent and dedicated, works hard without complaints, and dedicated his life to education and scientific research. He is rigorous in his studies, pioneering and innovative, and is a good example of others, and is deeply loved and respected by teachers and students.
